Dear friends,

At the end of each year, Pastor Alfred would recap the year, sharing what was happening in ministry with our supporters and friends. Although it grieves me to say so, I am writing this letter at the end of the year without him, yet with the peace and joy that only our Lord and Savior can give. Before I discuss what God has in store for me in this season of my life, I want to share a few things with those of you who have served with Alfred and me for almost 40 years.

1. I am so THANKFUL and BLESSED that God arranged and directed things so that you, Alfred and I could live life together.

2. Your friendship and support has enabled Alfred and I to fulfill two of the most powerful commands of our Lord and Savior; to go (Matthew 28:18) and be his witnesses all over the world (Acts 1:8). Praise God for your generosity…without it, this wouldn’t have been possible!

3. With the help and strength of our Father, you were the Hur and Aaron in our lives who held our arms up when they were weakened and tired. Regardless of what was happening in our lives, you were there for us, prayed for us, and generously supported us. There are no words to express how grateful I am to you, THANK YOU WITH ALL MY HEART!!!

Alfred loved and cared for people, as we all know. Every day, he sought ways to minister to men, women, boys and girls. In addition to his daily work at Faith Bible Church, Covenant Church, Community Church, Upward, Solutions, and so many other ministry and community needs, he mentored those men in how to lead God’s people effectively.

I too, carried that same desire in my heart and partnered with him in this ministry. As a result of this desire, God blessed me with the opportunity to found a ministry called PAMWIVES. PAMWIVES is a safe haven for women who are married to (P)astors (A)nd (M)inisters to be mentored in how to be effective and influential leaders in ministry with their husbands. “Will Marie continue to do ministry, and if so, what will she be doing?” some of you may be asking. Like Pastor would say, “I’m so glad you asked that question.” Lol! The answer is, “YES!” With God’s guidance, I intend to continue to serve at our local Community Campuses in the areas He has gifted me with, teaching women in our churches and communities as well as moving forward in the PAMWIVES Ministry.

Please pray for me as I move forward to what God has called me to. MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A HAPPY, BLESSED NEW YEAR TO YOU!

It is a separate 501c3 non-profit ministry of Pastor Alfred and Marie Young.

SOLUTIONS

In honor of Pastor Young and in keeping with his heart and passion for helping Pastors, Solutions will continue to help pastor's grow their churches and their people. Along with her husband's desire, Sister Marie will continue in serving pastor's and ministers wives through Solutions Ministry called "PAMWIVES".
